It’s a nice thing to have some honesty from large companies these days. With everything that is going on, it does our hearts good to know when Rockstar says they are going to do something, they follow up and do it. Just yesterday we put up a post with the Red Dead Redemption official trailer, in which the game looks amazing by the way, and the PR folks said they would be sending out a press release today. Today arrived and the release was waiting for us this morning, so it is official: Rockstar rocks.

In the release, word arrived that the rumors of the game’s late April release were generally correct. Rockstar’s “vision of the American West” will hit shelves for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America in April 27 and internationally on April 30.
