Just like every Englishman who ever wins anything is British. Works both ways, not that those whining nationalists north of the border will ever admit it.

And funny how McRae, Coulthard and Franchitti etc race (or raced) with a Scottish flag whereas Mansell, Hill, Hamilton and Button race with a British flag.
