Dr. Muzyka’s diagnosis for Mass Effect 2? Awesome.

I’m pretty sure this falls under both the categories of ‘already predicted to be true by most gamers out there’ and ‘blatant PR talk,’ but if we are to trust BioWare co-founder and CEO Dr. Ray Muzyka’s opinion, Mass Effect 2 is going to be the best thing they’ve ever done. In a recent interview, Muzyka gushed about how totally cool his game is going to be.

“I think it’s going to be the best thing yet from BioWare when it comes out,” he said, further elaborating on the point, saying, “You have all the things you love from Mass Effect 1: great story, amazing dialogue, Commander Shephard. But you also have incredible intensity, combat tactical choices, moment-to-moment intensity, how you deploy your troops, and the emergence of different abilities and how they all interact. It’s bigger and better in every way, and I think it’s going to be the best thing yet from BioWare when it comes out. I can’t wait for you all to get your hands on it to see what we’re so excited about. I love the game.”

Not like we’d expect the co-founder of BioWare to start insulting his own game, but he does seem pretty confident in the product they’re putting out.
