According to reports, the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2 has been hit with a number of leaderboard hacks placing cheaters atop of the lists with impossible numbers. The leaderboards are showing hackers on top with stats that are in no way achievable at this point, like showing play time to be in the tens of thousands of days for example.

There’s bound to be some sort of repercussion from the cheating, but whether there will be bans or a leaderboard reset is still unknown. Words of wisdom to you hackers out there: cheaters never win. So expect to eventually get busted.
