Uncharted 2 prequel motion comics available now

Ever ponder when wise-cracking treasure hunter Nathan Drake first started rocking the half-tucked t-shirt? Well, Naughty Dog’s four-part motion comic Eye of Indra won’t clue you in on the genesis of Nate’s casually assured fashion sense, but it does fill in some of the events leading up to his videogame debut in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

The comics, penciled by Witchblade‘s Marco Castiello and written by Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann, are more than just pretty pictures, featuring voice work from the original game’s beloved cast. As if the dulcet tones of former soap opera actor turned videogame voice talent Nolan North weren’t enough to instantaneously cleave cash from your virtual PlayStation Network wallet, the first episode is free with rest priced at $.99 individually, $2.49 bundled.

The tale of the shirt, and how it manages to tread that delicate line between tucked and untucked, will be told another day.
