Batman sticking with the dark and mysterious thing for now

It appears the follow-up to the summer’s big hit Batman Arkham Asylum shall go nameless for a while longer. Following the VGAs trailer premiere (above) which only had the batty symbol at the end of it, an official press release announcing the sequel in written word today also avoided putting a name on the game, only revealing that Warner Bros. will be the worldwide publisher. So we’ll just go with the flow and continue calling it Batman Arkham Asylum 2 for now.

What the announcement did bring were commitments and promises from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s President Martin Tremblay who says they’re “committed to delivering a sequel the fans will love,” as well as developer Rocksteady’s Game Director Sefton Hill who “[promises] to deliver another game worthy of the Dark Knight.”
