BioWare producer Adrien Cho is confident that next month’s Mass Effect 2 will be the best game the studio has made to date, and that review scores will say as much.
“Yeah [I’m optimistic],” he said about review scores in a recent interview. “Not in an egotistical way but from the sheer joy of craftsman knowing that the hard work that we put into it really shows through. We’re just so sure that we’ve made a solid, good product,” he said, adding that he believes Mass Effect 2 will fare better in the eyes of reviewers than its predecessor.
The Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect holds a 91 out of 100 Metacritic average, with the PC version slightly lower at 89/100, so there’s certainly room for some improvement.
