Hasbro suing Atari over Dungeons & Dragons
BY Michael Healy Dec. 20th, 2009 More on:

Can’t we all just get along? Toy conglomerate Hasbro is suing Atari over usage rights for Dungeons & Dragons. Says Hasbro, ”Dungeons & Dragons is owned by Hasbro’s wholly-owned subsidiary Wizards of the Coast, who discovered earlier this year that Atari may have entered into an unauthorized sublicensing relationship with Namco Bandai Partners (NBP) for the Dungeons & Dragons digital game rights.” Of course, Atari has claimed that it has broken no laws and is working with Hasbro to come to a resolution. Who, if anyone, is at fault? Atari for using D&D properties? Namco Bandai for giving up the goods to a third party? Or is Hasbro just rabble-rousing? We’ll keep you updated.
