Could Qriocity be Sony’s PSN premium service?

Sony has recently filed a trademark for something called Qriocity, which one could possibly link to the speculated PlayStation Network premium service that has been roaming around the web. The trademark has been filed in affiliation with “portable gaming machines” and “game services provided online from a computer network.”

However, Qriocity was trademarked by Sony, not distinctively by Sony Computer Entertainment, meaning it could be associated with a number of different Sony products, but the similarity to the “Qore” name makes it seem more linked to the PlayStation. Sony has also registered only a few months ago, so we can possibly expect to hear more about Qriocity, whatever it is, soon.
