The release of Final Fantasy XIII last week has given a strong boost to PlayStation 3 sales in Japan, latest figures from Media Create show. 237,000 is how many systems Sony sold last week, which is more than triple what it sold the week prior, all thanks to the release of Square Enix’s latest Final Fantasy game which itself is no stranger to large numbers — in its first day alone, the RPG sold over a million copies and climbed to 1.5 million by the end of the week.
