Blur demo gets all multiplayer-y

Blur was not supposed to sit on the sidelines through this past holiday season. Originally slated to be busting up other racers’ grills in 2009, the lovechild of the Mario Kart and Burnout series got pushed to 2010 in order to “fully optimize the vision they set out to create for Blur including a distinctive and groundbreaking multiplayer mode that will appeal to a broad audience.” That makes perfect sense, as the core of a racing game is competing against other drivers.

Extending on that thinking, Activision Blizzard Germany have submitted to USK, the German rating board, a multiplayer demo for the game. The information provided by the board shows only that this particular demo is for the Xbox 360, but we’re sure it’s safe to assume a PS3 demo will make an appearance also. Though when either will hit is another question.
