Dragon Age: Origins’ Awakening trailer arrives
BY Rain Anderson Jan. 5th, 2010 More on:

There was the announcement. Then the screenshots. And now here comes the trailer for Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening, the new area, level cap, spells, character etc adding expansion for BioWare’s most recent RPG that they’ll be releasing in March. Pretty standard stuff if you’ve seen any of the downloadable content trailers but a worthy watch regardless. Even manages to pack in a spoiler about Origins. *Spoiler* - the good guys win.

Here’s my question, when they say “Continue with the character you left off with” On dragon age orgins.com does that mean that you will just have that character or you will continue where your character ened in Dragon age origns. Such as mine married Aliaster and became queen. Does that mean I will continue with that story line or just have my character? Confusing!!!! HELP ME!

well it looks like Alistair is returning, as for the other party members, who knows?

btw Ashley, it will prob work like mass effect 2 where youll be able to play as our old character and the decicions/plot choices youve made in DA:O will probably have an effect on the story line in DA:A. so obviously if your character ended up becoming queen, your probably going to still be queen in DA:A, the ‘Grey Warden Commander’ from Orlais is just a placeholder character for those people who try to play DA:A but have not played (or beaten) DA:O.

you need not worry about a messed up plotline thats for sure, the thing i worry about is the lack of returning party members, so far the only confermed return would be Alistair (wich is fine because he was my fav party member anyways :p)

alistair was annoying i pushed him around the entire time it was really funny. i forced him to marry anora and then i recruited loghain. fun stuff. anyway my favorite character is ohgren, and im suprised they dont keep the same characters but just add on the other 5. if your character gets their level of approval up with the charcter then you should be able to let them come along. also its a real bitch that you cant do the remainding quests after you beat the game and are left to the dlc that comes out and nothing else.
