Microsoft has confirmed Project Natal‘s widely believed ‘holiday 2010’ release. Near the end of their CES 10 keynote address, Robbie Bach, President of Microsoft’s Entertainment & Devices Division, announced the news as he promised 2010 to be the biggest year the Xbox 360 has had yet; in part thanks to the launch of Natal and in part thanks to exclusives like Splinter Cell Conviction, Crackdown 2, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Fable III and Halo Reach.
No actual Natal details like a release date, price or an actual name (“Project Natal” is still a code name) were announced. But Microsoft did show a video that gives a few glimpses into how the technology works. Check that out above.
