Halo Legends coming to DVD and your favorite Blu-ray player February 9th

If you need a more detailed rundown on Halo Legends other than ‘it’s the Animatrix but with Halo,’ we’ve already got you covered, but Warner Home Video would like you to know that the Anime collaboration will be hitting DVD and Blu-ray early next month, on February 9th. The 2-disc special edition will have an MSRP of $29.99 on DVD and $34.99 on Blu-ray, and will feature the following extra goodies on both:

– The Making of Halo Legends – An introduction to Halo Legends followed by a making-of segment for each episode.
– Halo: Gaming Evolved – Explaining the Halo phenomenon from its inception as an Xbox video game to a present day entertainment franchise.
– Audio Commentary with directors Frank O’Connor and Joseph Chou

The Blu-ray will also include a look at the Halo timeline called Halo: The Story So Far, but if these don’t peak your interest or you don’t feel the need to go hi-def, a bare bones 1-disc DVD will also be available for $19.99.
