Bethesda keeps Fallout in court

The legal battle between Bethesda and Interplay over the Fallout franchise has not ended. Following Interplay’s win in December, Bethesda has now appealed, through a new law firm, the court’s decision which allowed Interplay to keep selling the Fallout Trilogy — which contains Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel — and continue development on their MMO set in the series’ universe.

Last month Interplay said it “will continue to defend its rights” and indicated that they may counter-sue Bethesda.
