The multi-platform Crysis 2 has been flying under the radar ever since its logo-filled announcement at last year’s E3, only popping its head up to show off the redesigned Nanosuit, while Dead Space 2 has seen hints of a possible early 2011 release. During EA’s fiscal year 2010 update call, CEO John Riccitiello mentioned the games and gave both a solid, if a bit wide, release window; the games will be a part of the company’s fiscal year 2011 line-up, which runs from April 1, 2010 until March 31, 2011.
Riccitiello mentioned a number of other games that can be expected in the same time frame as well, “a great new version of Medal of Honor, a revitalized Need for Speed, Sims on console, FIFA in a World Cup year, an innovative and new take on Madden, Dead Space 2, Crysis … an MMA game, and many others.”
On the same call Riccitiello mentioned that their “major MMO,” presumably Star Wars: The Old Republic, is set for a Spring 2011 release.
