Previously slated for a March release in Japan, Gran Turismo 5 was just last week slapped with the trusty ‘to be announced’ sticker again. While later specified that the delay applies for the Japanese version only, it was a cruel reminder that western dates haven’t even been given yet. And perhaps we won’t get any for a while as there’s still 10% of development to go, creator Kazunori Yamauchi told USA Today at CES last week, “About 90% of the game is done. We are just working on the last 10% and polishing up everything.”
What period of time does that 10% translate into? Seeing as the game was first announced at Sony’s pre-E3 press conference in mid-May 2005, another six months or so we reckon.
