DICE has introduced a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer gamemode called Squad Rush (video above), a new four vs four objective-based affair. “Squad Rush puts a squad of four players versus another squad of four players for a max of eight player matches in this intense one crate/two base infantry only version of the Rush gamemode,” series producer Gordon Van Dyke explains.
US-based console players who don’t have a soft spot for pre-ordering things from GameStop may want to look away now; Much like with Army of Two: The 40th Day’s Extraction gamemode, Squad Rush is a 30-day exclusive to those who, indeed, pre-order the game from GameStop (online or retail). The good news however is that, for everyone else, the mode will be available on day one — PC users will get it at launch worldwide, as will console players outside the US. Those who have the gamemode can invite friends to play it with them until the 30 days are up though, so it’s not all bad.

I’m stupid I don’t get it . So after 30 days of “exclusivity” this gamemode will be “terminated” .
Second thing … this is a TEAM DEATHMATCH RIPOFF ….. Squad Rush … only difference is that they have to control 2 positions = combination of team deathmatch and secure and defend .
If you ask me … I think these guys really are proud of this “NEW” gamemode wich is SAD !

Nah, after 30 days it will be made available to all.
And I don’t have any problem with mixing up different gamemodes and calling them something else myself, as long as it works and is fun.

Both are getting demos (Bad Company 2 is getting pre-release demo even, on Feb 11th apparently), should make the choice easier.
