More free Mass Effect 2 DLC in a few weeks

BioWare is preparing another batch of free Mass Effect 2 content for launch “in a couple weeks,” the company’s Twitter account teases. No other details were immediately offered though it’s likely we already know what the content is — when the Cerberus Network (Mass Effect 2‘s in-game delivery method for free DLC) was first announced, BioWare said to expect another free content pack “after launch,” and we’re guessing this is it.

The pack was said to include new missions, a Hammerhead hover tank vehicle, the M-22 Eviscerator Shotgun, the Cerberus Assault Armor as well as some “unique” in-game items.

The game itself launched last week and has been doing quite well for itself.
