Try typing ‘one million buyers’ into Scribblenauts

Warner Bros Interactive has sent word through the grapevine that Scribblenauts has sold one million copies. The 5th cell developed puzzler limited only by your imagination (and finicky controls) has been on store shelves since September 15th, and Warner Bros Interactive president Martin Tremblay couldn’t be happier with the result. “We are extremely pleased with the sales of Scribblenauts and credit the game’s innovation and wide appeal in making it a hit with gamers of all skill levels”, said Tremblay.

The Warner Bros executive would go to say, “Scribblenauts is one of our strong original brands, and we look forward to bringing consumers more quality gaming experiences as part of our portfolio game strategy.” That’s good news for people like me who really liked Scribblenauts in concept but wish to see this concept executed better.
