Splinter Cell’s PC/360 exclusivity reiterated
BY Rain Anderson Feb. 9th, 2010 More on:

It appears hope of Splinter Cell: Conviction making its way to the PlayStation 3 at a later date may have faded a bit more. During Ubisoft’s fiscal year 2009-10 Q3 conference call today it was once more said that the game will be an exclusive to the already announced platforms, those being the PC and Xbox 360.

“…this time it’s going to be PC and Xbox 360 exclusive,” it was said as lifetime sales (19 million) of the entire series were discussed.

Hey Inja its too bad that MGS4 although a very hot game had way too many videos to watch and less gameplay. This Splinter Cell game will have more gameplay that has a high replayability.

Yeah? I really don’t care about Splinter Cell. I’m a ps3 guy but I also have a 360 just for games like Mass Effect 2 and Gears 1 (Gears 2 sucks sumthing bad), but i’m just tired of Microsoft buying exclusives. They must have low ego to think that they might lose to Sony when they had a year start. Whatever the case might be i’m still playing Mass Effect 2 (coo ass game), buy it’s still not exclusive if its coming to the pc also. They should say “councel exclusive”.

is it actually coming out this time?
4+ years of development and 3 delayed release dates.
      hopefully 4th times the charm!
i think we have a contender for GT5 or alan wake, but no one will ever take the crown from DNF.
      12 years and counting!

Sad day for PS3 player’s (what I am)

We have exclusivity and Xbox have too… It’s fair for business perspective… But not for gamers…

Enjoy the game… Xbox fan… you are lucky on this one !

Yeah, Splinter Cell might have more gameplay…..however Metal Gear Solid has BETTER gameplay. I’d rather play a great game (MGS4) for 20 hours than a mediocre game (Splinter Cell: Conviction) for 40.

Oh and as for “Exclusivity”…..LOL, what’s exclusive? They just confirmed SC: C for 360 and PC. Last time i checked…..that’s 2 platforms. If it’s on 2 platforms that makes it multiplatform, not exclusive. 360 fanboys must be getting desperate……….
