Bungie are preparing to take “pretty big risks” for the multiplayer element of Halo: Reach.
Speaking in an interview with Joystiq, creative director Marcus Lehto said that Bungie will be branching out beyond the established formula. “While we’ll still have all of the good stuff that players have come to know and love about Halo,” said Lehto, “we’ve made that better and given them new features on top of that.”
Lehto didn’t detail any of the new features, but confirmed that they would be present and correct in the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta that was yesterday dated for early May and will only be accessible through a Halo 3: ODST disc.
“Pretty big risks”? Interesting. Roll on May.
