28 billion zombies have been…left for dead

In a mere two months, over 28 million zombies have been slaughtered in the world of Left 4 Dead 2. Twenty. Eight. Bee. Eye. Ill. Yon. The folks at Valve have compiled some helpful statistics to put this 28 billion death toll in perspective:

- The entire population of the planet has been zombified and killed 4.26 times.
- With the average height of a zombie being 6 feet, if you stacked them end to end they would circle the globe 1,322 times.
- If you placed 28,981,249,043 rulers end to end, they would reach 28,981,249,043 feet in the sky.

We found that last statistic to be particularly shocking. So, there you have it: 28 billion zombies with caps in their zombie asses. Needless to say, L4D2 is pretty dang popular.
