Uncharted 2 gets a blast from the past in next DLC

Long time fans of Nathan Drake are about to receive a pleasant surprise; Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is getting another shot of DLC, and this time it’s focused on the original title, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. And unlike last month’s heroes pack, this is a bit more than just a skin pack; not only are there six new characters to play as, but also two maps, and a bunch of new trophies and multiplayer medals.

You may have noticed a lack of competitive and co-op trophies in the original Among Thieves list. Justin Richmond, multiplayer designer at Naughty Dog revealed that this was because “One of the things that we wanted to make sure at launch was that anybody could get the platinum,” and to be fair, I got mine. The trophies aren’t retroactive, so you’ll have to set about trying to get 2,500 kills from scratch.

At least we’ll have two new spaces to get killin’ in. The Flooded Ruins is set around the customs house that appeared midway through the first game, and The Facility is based on the Nazi bunker Nate and Elena find themselves in towards the end.

This bundle of Drake joy hits the PSN on February 25th. You can pick up the skins for $2.99, the maps for $3.99, or the whole lot for $5.99. The packs are of course coming to the UK and Australia, but pricing is yet to be announced.
