Rockstar has released the first in-game screenshots from the much-awaited L.A. Noire, showing the 1940’s LA as imagined by developer Team Bondi and as rendered by their proprietary game engine. The images arrive via GameInformer who featured the game as a cover story in their latest issue and who calls the open-world detective story “one of the most ambitious Rockstar titles to date, featuring a massive open world and a groundbreaking animation system”. More lavish expectations, then. Excellent.
The game’s expected this fall, on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
