THQ’s E3 to “blow people away,” CEO says

Saints Row 3, Homefront, the next Red Faction, the Warhammer 40k MMO — according to CEO Brian Farrell, these are the already-announced titles that THQ is looking cause some stir with at E3 this summer.

“I think we’re going to blow people away at E3,” Farrell said in a recent interview. “You’ll be seeing Saints Row 3. You’ll be seeing the next Red Faction. You’ll be seeing more of Homefront. We’ve been talking about it, but we’ll actually show some of our Warhammer 40k MMO, and I think people are going to go, ‘Oh my God. They’ve got their stuff together.'”

Farrell also revealed that the company will be showing off their first titles for the Xbox 360’s and PS3’s motion controllers at the event. “Like most platforms, you want to be there at launch, but not over-invest because you want to have enough,” he said of their support for Project Natal and Sony’s unnamed controller. “We’ll be showing a couple things at E3 and we’ll unveil them there. But it’s consistent with how we normally support hardware. Some at the beginning and then watching consumer acceptance we’ll either ramp up or normalize depending on how quickly the ramp goes.”
