The new first-person shooter intellectual property that Codemasters is working on will be revealed in next month’s issue of Official PlayStation Magazine. Beyond the fact that it’s being created under the watchful eyes of people who created Criterion’s PS2 title Black, and that it’s running on Codemasters’ proprietary Ego engine, nothing is known of the game. But, that will change once issue 43 of the mag goes on sale on March 16.

Official Xbox Magazine recently teased a game — “the shooter that everybody asked for” — that the magazine will unveil in their next issue as well (on shelves March 11). One and the same, perhaps. Then again, who’s been asking for more shooters from Codemasters?
