N3II given a spring release in NA, EU

Ninety-Nine Nights II, the direct sequel to Phantagram and Q Entertainment’s 2006 hack-n-slasher, will be out in North America and Europe this spring (and Japan, as previously revealed), Konami — who has taken on the publishing duties — has announced.

The game picks off where the first N3 left off and promises to take the story — enjoyable from five different perspectives — “to all new heights” as well as offer “a series of spectacular battles”. A two-player online cooperative mode complete with ranking boards is thrown in for good measure as well, allowing players to pair up to take on hordes of enemies.

The announcement was accompanied by a handful of new screenshots (click) and the poetic debut trailer above.
