“Big, big titles” coming to PSP this year
BY Jamie Feltham Feb. 20th, 2010 More on:

The PSP has been having its fair share of issues lately; the Go’s launch can best be described as ugly, and some of its top tier titles last year weren’t quite as good as expected. That hasn’t hurt Sony’s spirits however, as they’re still promising big things for 2010.

Rob Dyer, SCEA’s Senior Vice President of Publisher Relations has promised that there are “big, big titles coming out this year”. That’s on top of an already promising list including Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Valkyria Chronicles II, and Modnation Racers PSP.

Dyer stated, “we still have a very robust line-up this year from third parties on the PSP, starting with Metal Gear Peace Walker. I won’t go through the whole line-up because I want our third-party partners to make those announcements, but there are some big, big titles coming out this year and you’ll see those announcements at GDC, DPS (Destination PlayStation) or E3.”

There are still a few titles shrouded in mystery, like Capcom’s next Resident Evil title, so it’ll be interesting to see if the PSP finds it feet again as the year goes on.
