Metro 2033 will be a Steamworks title

While 4A Games is refuting claims that its upcoming action game Metro 2033 uses game code from S.T.A.L.K.E.R., there are more crucial things at hand, like how publisher THQ will handle the PC release.

Valve and THQ have announced that the PC version of Metro 2033 will utilize the Steamworks suite which will be “providing gamers with auto-updating, Steam Achievements, Steam support for in-game DLC, and more.” Steamworks won’t be the only notable thing about the PC version as it will also utilize DirectX11 and PhysX.

PC and Xbox 360 users will get to dive into the post-apocalyptic icy-ness of Moscow in March when Metro 2033 is released.
