Normally, you’d think that a guy like Stig Asmussen, director of the recently-gone-gold God of War III, would go all out on someone who wanted to take on the brawler of brawlers, but the fact of the matter is that Asmussen does not bash Dante’s Inferno. No, he rather embraced and praised it, telling UK Official PlayStation Magazine that “we’ve been intrigued about Dante’s Inferno. This is my favourite genre, and the more people that are making [these games] the better.”
He adds, “and this is a really rich story they’re building on, it’s very interesting. The day that the demo came out we were trying to download it on PSN at midnight. We all wanted to see it.”
Some friendly competition between Sony Studios Santa Monica and EA then, that’s good to see.
