The organisers of the Tokyo Game Show, CESA (Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association), have revealed the dates for this year’s event.
According to Andriasang (via Edge), TGS 2010 will take place in Makuhari Messe, Chiba from Sept. 16 to 19. It’s set to be a slightly smaller operation than in recent years, with around 180 companies expected to exhibit to approx. 180,000 visitors. That’s down from in 2008’s high of almost 200,000.
As well as the usual videogame related stuff, TGS 2010 will also feature non-gaming tech products. One of the new initiatives is the “Audio Visual & Gadget Corner,” which will feature “the latest in tech, from high spec PCs to 3D televisions, controllers, and special chairs.”
Also, for the first time, publishers will be able to sell software and hardware in the general exhibit area. This was previously forbidden.
