Bad Company 2 comes, stumbles, conquers

Battlefield: Bad Company 2‘s first week on the frontlines was both troublesome and excellent; while the game battled its fair share of online issues, some of which are still going on, sales wise the game appears to have produced stellar results.

Not only did it debut at the top of the UK’s sales charts (53% of sales on the Xbox 360, 31% for PS3, 16% for PC), it has became the year’s fastest-selling title in the country, surpassing Aliens vs. Predator and heavy hitting sequels Mass Effect 2 and BioShock 2.

And, according to one of the status updates the game’s official blog has been giving over the weekend, the shooter has already managed to pass the peak user level of any past Battlefield title by 400 percent.
