As hinted by MTV Games’ Senior VP Paul DeGooyer earlier in the year, Rock Band 3 is real. And it’s coming this holiday, Harmonix has announced. And, it’s going to “innovate and revolutionize the music genre once again,” the studio’s Facebook presence promises, “just as Harmonix did with the original Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band.”

Any actual details are lacking and promised later on however; the only thing known for the time being is that EA will be handling the publishing duties once more.
