Rockstar has started introducing the world map for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption; first up is New Austin, the first of three distinct areas available for exploration in the open-world western-themed shooter and the last outpost of the American frontier to be mapped, conquered and settled, Rockstar says.
A look at the area — “home to scattered townships and forts, but far from tamed” — is available in the batch of captioned images below.
After seeing a slight delay earlier in the month, the game’s scheduled for release in mid-May.
