Back in late-January, Rockstar announced that their then-Xbox 360-exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City was also to appear on PS3 and PC later this month. As is the case, that won’t be happening.
There are different requirements of content within the ESRB, PEGI, BBFC (etc) regional rating systems, hence the following official statement: “Due to a last minute game submission request from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe to edit some of the in-game Liberty City radio station, television, and internet content – we are forced to delay the worldwide release of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City for both PlayStation 3 and PC for an extra two weeks.”
“An extra two weeks” means the release of The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony will now happen on April 13th in North America and 16th in Europe. Not so bad, given that PS3 and PC users have already been waiting for this since, well, forever.
