Atlus are gearing up to begin development on Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5.
Speaking to Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation, Atlus’ Katsura Hashino revealed (via Kotaku), “We are preparing to start work on the next Persona.”
“I want to add things that are being expected of the series,” he added. “I also want to change things that can be changed within those boundaries.” That’s… clear then.
Hashino also worked on the last two Persona games, as director and producer. While not confirmed, it is likely that Persona 5 will be the first of the popular JRPG series to make the jump to current-gen. Exciting!
