Battlefield 1943 sells a million on XBLA, PC version “soon”

The Xbox 360 version of the shooter with the unique inception story, last summer’s Battlefield 1943, has crossed the one million sold mark, EA’s announced today. And it’s the fastest game in Xbox Live Arcade’s library to do so.

“An incredible achievement,” producer Gordon Van Dyke calls it. “The game has set a new standard for what can be done in the downloadable games category.”

1943‘s available on both the XBLA and PSN for 1200 MS Points and $15, respectively. The PC version is still coming as well; “soon,” according to today’s announcement.
