Ubisoft Montreal has been ‘making notes’ that may turn into possible downloadable content for this month’s Splinter Cell: Conviction, creative director Maxime Beland teased at a recent launch party held for the game.
“The number one thing that I would have liked to bring back for the fans is obviously carrying dead bodies,” Beland told GT. “It’s not something we needed to do at all for the new gameplay, but I know a lot of fans would have liked that and I would have liked to have been able to do it. We basically didn’t have time so we weren’t able to pull it off.”
He continued: “There’s a couple of other things, but I’m not really willing to share because there’s always the option of DLC to do some stuff – and we’ve got some notes already for the future.”
Ubisoft has been fairly shy when responding to inquiries about Conviction‘s post-launch content in the past, only revealing that they do have “a DLC strategy” in mind. The exact details, however, will be decided on after the game’s release.
