It’s official, there’s a new Silent Hill game on its way from Konami.
Unveiled at a recent gamer day event in Germany, the only solid information available is that the new game is coming to “next gen” consoles, suggesting a multiplatform release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
To accompany the announcement was a short teaser trailer showing a man stumbling through the fog before being attacked by “something monstrous.” That’s the G4 translation of Eurogamer Germany‘s original story, by the way. We won’t pretend suddenly spreken ze deutch.
Apparently the trailer ends with the message, “The Silence Ends At E3,” so expect more in June.
