Ubisoft DRM to “evolve and improve”

Ubisoft’s always-connected method of digital rights management hasn’t gone over too well with their customers, with them not being able to play single-player games due to server troubles and all. But, while the company plans to continue using their “online services platform,” fans of all things Clancy may take slight comfort in the company’s goals to “evolve and improve” it.

“Most forthcoming Ubisoft PC titles will use our online services platform,” a company spokesperson has told Eurogamer. However, “As with any online technology, we are constantly working to evolve and improve it.”

What specific aspects of the service would see said improvements went unmentioned.
