Recent in-the-wild photos of a supposedly recent version of Project Natal‘s development unit have revealed an as of yet unknown feature; a motorized tilt mechanism.
“Do not manually tilt the sensor array on its base,” warns the motion controller’s manual as seen on one of the shots sent to Italian game site Multiplayer.it. “Doing so can damage the tilt mechanism.”
The photos also reveal that Natal requires additional power through a wall wart. On top of that, the site writes that a large amount of spoken phrases are being tested with the device, suggesting comprehensive voice recognition applications.
All the official details on June 13.
