The first game to come out of Bungie and Activision’s freshly announced partnership is already “well along in its development,” Wedbush’s Michael Pachter has said following discussions with both companies.
The analyst believes the first game will in fact be released as soon as next year, with the following titles hitting at two-year intervals. That would mean the 10-year arrangement could produce up to five titles based on the new intellectual property.
Pachter also expects the first title to sell extremely well. Since the ‘big action game universe’ will appear on multiple ‘platforms and devices’, the first game will sell “at least 10 million units,” he says.
