Treyarch’s newly named Call of Duty: Black Ops will indeed take players to Vietnam and Cuba as it was first whispered to us almost exactly a year ago, as well as the Arctic, the game’s listing on UK retailer GAME’s website has revealed.
“Now you will witness the birth of the Elite Special Forces and take part in off-the-record missions using unconventional weaponry to get the job done!” reads the listing (cheers, SandyCo!). “From Cuba to the Arctic and the jungles of Vietnam, Call of Duty: Black Ops features stunning cinematic graphics and intense gameplay that puts you right at the heart of the action!”
The game was officially confirmed just this morning; it’ll be out on November 9.
A teaser trailer with in-game footage is airing later today / tomorrow morning, depending on where you’re from.
