The just-announced Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is apparently not too far from completion. “Development is approaching a climax,” assistant producer Akihito Kadowaki wrote in a post on Capcom Japan’s official blog for the brawler.
The statement was not elaborated on but with the game’s announced release date being ‘spring 2011’, he could simply be talking about the actual content; months and months worth of painstaking character balancing may well lie ahead.
The game’s main goal is “above all else, getting Versus series fans excited,” Kadowaki also wrote in the post. And while players “should look forward to gameplay”, “expect things of the visuals as well [the game runs on Capcom’s MT Framework technology].”
