The first downloadable content for the financial success that is Metro 2033 could be revealed before the week’s over, developer 4A Games has informed via the game’s official Twitter feed.
“Like a fine single malt, the DLC is almost done,” they wrote. “We hope to be able to take the wraps off it this week.”
A few things can be ruled out right away though. The developer has previously said that any add-on content that may get released will not contain any new narrative content for the single-player campaign, nor missing levels or the addition of a multiplayer component. “That would be very cool, but sadly not possible,” they said in March as DLC development began.
That leaves what then, more weapons?
