BioWare’s announced that new Mass Effect 2 story content they’ve been keeping busy with; Overlord introduces five new areas and two new achievements to the sci-fi saga, and will be available some time next month.
The content sees Shepard and friends investigating a Cerberus research base gone quiet. Naturally, all is not well and the Normandy crew end up fighting a virtual intelligence / human hybrid, aka VI Overlord, before the “homicidal intelligence” manages to beam itself off the planet.
The pricing remains unchanged since the Kasumi DLC: 560 MS Points on Xbox Live and 560 BioWare Points ($7) on PC.
