More evidence of Crytek’s entry into the MMO market today.
Past discoveries of the German FPS house working on an unannounced “Online MMO FPS” have been bolstered: going by the man’s LinkedIn profile, Crytek senior IT manager James Dennett’s duties from February 2009 to present day include “designing, testing and implementing as part of the development team the systems infrastructure for an MMO online game.” Not much room for imagination there.
There’s also a suggestion towards what the project, or perhaps another new development from Crytek, is called.
A number of late May domain name registrations spotted under vice president and co-founder Faruk Yerli’s name all suggest the company is working on something called Kingdoms. It may well be a work-in-progress name though; codename-kingdoms.com is among the registered names.
