Only a few weeks remain until APB, Realtime Worlds’ cops-and-robbers MMO, is upon us and the developer has just released the game’s minimum system requirements. The specs seem fairly easy to meet but if you haven’t upgraded your system in a year or so, it’s probably time to go shopping.
Broadband internet is required — it is an online game after all — and a headset with microphone is recommended. APB will eat up a minimum of 20GB of hard drive space, while catching bad guys/reigning terror on do-gooders will require a Core 2 Duo 2Ghz processor and at least a nVidia GeForce 7800 with 256 MB or equivalent video card. Oh, and RAM; the game will need 2Gb of RAM on most 32bit systems, 3GB for Vista64 and Windows 7 64.
The PC version arrives in North America on June 29, mainland Europe in July 1, and in the UK on July 2. Until then, check out our look at the game from within Realtime Worlds.
