Update: It’s indeed a reimagined film pitch
Original story: A seven-minute live-action Mortal Kombat video has began making the rounds today. It could be of the new movie reboot that’s been chatted about a a bit, though considering the timing of its appearance the chances of a new game reveal at E3 next week just went up considerably.
Should it indeed be setting the groundwork for a game announcement, the contents of the seven-something minute video go mighty well with creator Ed Boon’s words from last summer: “People want an M-rated MK…dammit we will give them an M-rated MK.”
